Position Overview As a part of our culinary team, you'll work in a fast-paced mountain kitchen across various food & beverage outlets at our resort. We have openings from entry-level Cook 1 to advanced Cook 4 positions, allowing you to grow at your own pace. You'll have the chance to work at all stations, including grill, fryer, sauté, and expo. Previous experience in banquet or pastry is a plus but not mandatory. You’ll be expected to follow recipes, collaborate with a team, multitask efficiently, and always aim to exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities Specific duties may vary depending on your skill level, but typically include:

Preparing a variety of foods under supervision for restaurant and banquet services. Help maintain production quality and standards. Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment. Participate in cost control and maintain sanitation practices. Organize your workspace according to station guidelines. Demonstrate appropriate knife skills for your cook level. Label, date, and store food while keeping your workspace clean. Complete necessary Food Handler and Allergen training. Report any damaged or hazardous equipment. Conduct temperature checks at your station and ensure proper food storage. Take direction from chefs and outlet managers. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen adhering to all sanitary regulations. Assist in securing and storing food deliveries. Communicate product shortages and changes as necessary. Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Cooks must be at least 16 years old for Cook 1 positions and 18 for Cook 2-4 positions. Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Cook 1: Basic prep/ counter service experience preferred but not required. Cook 2: One year of relevant professional cooking experience. Cook 3: Two years of professional cooking experience, or one year plus an associate degree in Culinary Arts. Cook 4: Three years of relevant professional experience or two years plus an associate degree in Culinary Arts. Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with various equipment. Must adhere to our Culinary Guidelines. Expected to maintain positive interactions with guests and coworkers, in line with our Service Excellence standards. Current Food Handler and Allergy training certificates required, or must complete training within 14 days after hire.

Compensation The hourly pay for this position ranges from $19 and may vary based on experience, education, training, and other factors. This figure is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package, which may include various region-specific benefits.
