Negotiable based on experience A Snapshot of Your Day This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects for high-voltage substations. Working within a collaborative engineering team, youll be involved in the full lifecycle of substation projectsfrom concept design through construction and commissioning. This is a client-facing role where communication, coordination, and technical accuracy are essential to success. Youll work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and customers to drive successful outcomes on projects that support grid reliability, electrification, and infrastructure development. Responsibilities

Lead engineering design and technical execution of high-voltage substation EPC projects. Develop and review design packages, technical specifications, and construction documents. Provide engineering input and support throughout bidding, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, procurement, and field teams. Identify potential design or project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Ensure designs meet all relevant safety, environmental, and industry standards (IEEE, NESC, NEC). Provide technical support during site visits, including problem-solving and issue resolution during construction and commissioning. Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 35 years of experience working on high-voltage substation EPC projects. Strong knowledge of substation components, protection systems, and grounding practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or other relevant design tools. Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, NESC, NEC, and other applicable standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage engineering deliverables and interface with multiple stakeholders. Experience working on utility or large infrastructure projects preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
