Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerks/Problem Solvers in Port Deposit, Maryland. Positions pay weekly plus hourly at $21.50 per hour plus an additional $1.00 per hour when working third shift. Schedules include multiple shifts available (3 x 12 hour shift and 1 x 6 hour shift). We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment. Products being handled: Retail items. One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments. Recognize and read location, date, and product codes. Work independently and as a member of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication) (beginner level). Depending on location, may be required to be equipment certified. Safety sensitive position, non-regulated tech. Responsibilities: Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits. Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments. Participate in physical inventories as necessary. Provide floor support to operation supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues. Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety. Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands. Perform other duties as assigned.
