Job Description Job Title: Multi-Modality Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: WI-DSPS Radiographer License Certifications: ARRT Registered in Radiography, ARRT Registered in CT, AHA Provider BLS/CPR

Description: Looking for a Multi-Modality Technologist for night shift hours. Schedule is four ten-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9 PM to 7 AM. Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice. Assists the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership. Completes projects, advanced level clinical duties, and regular assignments as requested. Is competent in all exams performed within the assigned modalities. Corroborates patient clinical history with procedures, ensuring information is documented and available for use. Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures. Positions patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. Immobilizes patients as necessary. Practices aseptic technique as necessary. Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous access. Initiates basic life support action when necessary. Provides patient education. Provides input for supply and equipment decisions. Maintains control of inventory and supplies for assigned area. Provides practical instruction for students and partners. Observes universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers. Holiday coverage may be required.
