Job Summary:
The Truck Loading Warehouse Worker is responsible for efficiently and safely loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and timely deliveries. Hours Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload freight from trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manually as needed
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and report any discrepancies to your immediate supervisor or Delivery Coordinator I
Stack, organize, and secure pallets in trucks/trailers according to safety standards
Follow loading instructions and shipment documentation for correct order handling
Use RF scanners or shipping software to track and label products
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dock and warehouse area
Report damaged goods or safety concerns to supervisor promptly
Work closely with team members and truck drivers to coordinate efficient loading
Comply with company policies, OSHA standards, and safety procedures
Pull pipe in accordance with paperwork, accurately and loaded into truck correctly (Pipe for first stop on top) If pipe is being pre pulled and staged for easy loading, pipe will still need pulled accurately and easily accessible for driver.
Consolidate shipments onto skids when necessary, noting on ship tickets of change to box/skid count.
