The Network Optimization Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping our supply chain and commercial strategies by analyzing data and delivering insights that balance customer needs with internal network efficiency. This role focuses on turning data into strategic business recommendations that enhance customer service, strengthen retail and brand relationships, and maximize profitability. Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, the analyst will evaluate network performance, uncover opportunities for growth, and drive decisions that create measurable bottom-line impact. The analyst will be responsible for interpreting complex data models related to production capacity, network flow, inventory positioning, and operational performance. Their work will directly influence strategic initiatives such as facility utilization, logistics optimization, production planning, and customer service improvement. Responsibilities

Deliver business analytics & insights. Translate complex datasets into clear, commercially relevant insights that guide decision-making across sales, customer service, supply chain, and operations. Highlight trade-offs between cost, service, and growth opportunities to optimize business outcomes. Develop fact-based insights and recommendations from large data sets in a concise and compelling manner. Lead network strategy and performance analytics. Evaluate the utilization, cost, and service effectiveness of the manufacturing and distribution network. Model alternative scenarios, forecast impacts, and recommend strategies that enhance resilience, reduce costs, and unlock growth opportunities. Build a resilient, cost-effective operational footprint aligned with business growth and customer expectations. Conduct operational analysis and identify trends, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in areas such as production, transportation, and inventory. Perform root cause investigations, quantify opportunities, and provide recommendations that reduce costs, enhance service levels, and support business agility. Collaborate with senior leadership and peers. Partner with senior leadership and peers across Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure visibility into business performance aligns with cross-functional needs. Maintain routine reporting, respond to ad hoc requests, and contribute to major initiatives such as network redesigns, capacity expansions, and cost-reduction programs. Maintain and foster strong communication and relationships across the organization. Act as a champion for the business, providing leadership and advocacy, and serving as a clearinghouse for ideas, concerns, and activities on behalf of the full commercial team. Participate as a member of the team. Contribute to the development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinate work to ensure best practices across all team members; attend meetings; foster cohesiveness and proactively address misalignment to achieve synergy. Familiarity with Simmons operating systems principles and objectives. Understand established operating systems (quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN) and the role of this position in supporting these systems, including impact of actions on the systems and communicating improvement ideas. Technical Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, process engineering, or related areas. Experience with data warehouses, data modeling, and data visualization tools such as Tableau. CPG or retail experience preferred. Industry Experience:

High velocity consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, warehousing, or retail background. Minimum Education:

Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent training or 4 years related experience. Preferred Education:
