Overview

Andrews & Cole is currently partnering with a private real estate investment firm that is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties across the United States. The role emphasizes strategic and financial stewardship, particularly within affordable housing sectors, including compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations as well as Market-Rate properties. Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight Develop and execute tailored business plans for each property in alignment with investment goals. Track performance metrics such as financial results, occupancy rates, rent trends, and cost controls. Identify and implement operational enhancements to improve net operating income and asset value. Conduct periodic property inspections to assess conditions and progress. Financial Management Evaluate annual budgets prepared by third-party property managers. Perform monthly financial reviews and variance analyses. Prepare and deliver quarterly investor reports, ensuring accurate fund-level updates. Supervise capital improvement planning and execution. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure regulatory compliance for affordable housing programs, including tenant income certifications and adherence to legal agreements. Financing & Capital Activity Maintain relationships with lenders and ensure timely submission of required financial documentation. Qualifications

Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced credentials (e.g., MBA, CCIM, CPM) are preferred. Minimum of five years in asset management, with at least two years focused on multifamily housing. Skills & Knowledge In-depth understanding of affordable housing regulations, including LIHTC and HUD programs such as Section 8. Benefits
