Overview
Program Manager, Mission Critical, Construction role at ARCO Design/Build. This position oversees construction of Mission Critical facilities from concept design to completion in the Atlanta, GA office. Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, and operating procedures to drive operational efficiency and ensure successful delivery of mission-critical and data center projects. Provide oversight on the design/build manager team over the design and construction management of Mission Critical facilities from concept design to completion. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Provide guidance and support to project managers, architects, engineers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are executed effectively. Complete equipment sizing and mass balance specifications to ensure functionality and efficiency. Develop new and innovative solutions to enhance production, focusing on improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency for mission-critical end users. Partner with the business development team as a subject matter expert, developing conceptual design facility layouts, and supporting proposal development for comprehensive design/build or EPC solutions. Travel as needed. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0. 5-10 years' technical sales, project management, and/or facility design experience within the Mission Critical industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, technologies, and best practices in the mission-critical and data center sector. Extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of effectively resolving complex project-related issues. Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen to drive operational excellence and contribute to the companys overall growth. Experience in advanced/high-tech Mission Critical sectors highly preferred. Broad and in-depth business background with a working knowledge of the technical aspects of Mission Critical design/build construction. What ARCO Offers
