Overview:
MV Transportation is currently seeking a dedicated
Dispatcher
to join our team. This role is essential in managing day-to-day route operations and reporting directly to Dispatch Supervisors. By adhering to defined procedures and maintaining communication with drivers and clients, you will ensure safe, cost-effective, and reliable service. Key Responsibilities: Answer client calls and communicate effectively with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Managers. Monitor radios and telephones to ensure service quality. Support positive employee morale and high-quality customer service. Oversee daily driver sign-in and sign-out processes. Assign trips to drivers for optimal route distribution. Track daily system performance and report any issues. Participate in performance analysis and improvement initiatives. Notify Supervisors about any closed or delayed routes. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of Dispatcher experience preferred. Two years of customer service experience is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent qualification required. Familiarity with Trapeze software is a plus. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to customer service excellence. Professional phone etiquette is essential. Knowledge of the service area is advantageous.
