Under the supervision of the Bakery Manager, the Second Baker is responsible for preparing all types of bakery products, and following New York State Health Department guidelines. This is a full-time position of 40 hours a week, with a generous benefits package that includes leave time, retirement, and insurance. 8-hour shifts will generally fall in the range of 3am to 12pm. i.e 3am-11am or 4am to 12pm.
Required Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED. Skills in basic arithmetic. Ability to lift seventy-five (75) pounds. One year experience in quantity food preparation. Must take weights and measures assessment. Knowledge of commercial kitchens. Ability to follow recipes and bake on a large scale. The ability to work cohesively on a team in a fun but fast-paced environment.
