About the Role

The role involves advancing the execution of key priorities in collections, natural areas, and display gardens, ensuring their integration with research, conservation, education, and visitor experience goals. The Vice President will also be responsible for establishing effective partnerships, managing budgets, and overseeing the talent development of the horticulture and natural resources management team.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years' of experience in horticulture or natural resources, and a minimum of 7 years' in a leadership role. Technical expertise in horticulture operations, living collections, and preferably in ecosystem restoration and land management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, budgeting, and project execution, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are also required.
