FABRICATION ASSOCIATE JOB AVAILABLE IN GROVEPORT, OH Volt is immediately hired as a Fabrication Associate in Groveport, OH As a Fabrication Associate you will be: Responsible for moving loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard. Assembling pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies. Following safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe. Operating powered industrial equipment by OSHA guidelines and procedures. Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication. Measuring, recording, and adding random pipe lengths accurately. Measuring and cutting pipe using band saws or torches. Ability to sort/shift pipe ranging from ½” to 10”. Threading and bevel pipe using Landis machines. Inspecting and maintaining forklift equipment This is a Full-time Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Experience of machinery for the use of pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders - Preferred. Experience of mechanical, auto mechanics, machinery maintenance, automotive lines, diesel, or farm equipment – Preferred. Knowledge of computer skills for automated machinery. Duration: 3 Months/ Shift: 06:00 am to 2:30 pm (M-F) Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
