Volt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Operator - in LA Vergne, Tennessee 37086 As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for: Responsibilities: Overseeing the unloading and storing of items. Ensure receiving items are stored and organized in appropriate areas. Inspect deliveries to ensure they match orde3r and invoice criteria. Ensure signing of bills of landing in accordance with company standards. Enter receiving data into the company warehouse management system Compare purchase orders to invoices and packaging lists. Update inventory with received items. Maintain records of orders, delivery details etc. Communicate with vendors regarding delays or problems. Assist in maintaining and updating carrier schedules and receiving data. Respond to receiving inquires internally and externally by phone daily. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse setting. Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Internet. Ability to speak, read, and write English; handwriting must be legible. Forklift, Scissor lift and pallet jack experience preferred. SAP and QWMS system experience preferred. Location: LA VERGNE, Tennessee 37086 Duration: 06+ Months contract Shift: 1st 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd 4:00 PM - 2:30 PM Pay Range: $17.00/hr. - $19.00/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
