In this role, you will contribute to site success by coordinating maintenance activities in Operations to maximize their effectiveness and act as liaison between site functions to ensure minimal impact to production related to maintenance activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop Maintenance Request list that priorities Preventative and Predictive Work first over Routine Work

Develop systems and processes to execute work during the backshift

Ensure all work request submitted follow the ME Standard with proper category, fields, and other requirements completed prior to approving to work to be planned by maintenance

Develop and/or coordinate Energy Control Procedures and LOTOs such that maintenance work can start on time

Provide support for executing Life Critical Permits and develop others to be competent in permit issuing

As a member of the Operations Team, coordinate with Engineering to evaluate maintenance requirement notifications entered in to SAP

Work with Maintenance to advance approved maintenance requirement notifications through to completion

Work with Safety to ensure that written safety procedures applicable to any work planned are provided and followed and to update written safety procedures as needed

Schedule maintenance and repair activities for the site's production lines to take fullest advantage of available maintenance time

Minimize/manage the maintenance backlog

Communicate status of maintenance requests throughout Operations

Work with the capital, operations and maintenance groups executing outages, including generation of Gantt charts to schedule work around operations timelines and ensuring minimal return-to-production scheduling

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

High school diploma or GED is required

Ability to convert the most complex situations into simple solutions

Supervisor experience in high pace, high stress environments

Minimum of 2 years experience with MS Excel or Spreadsheets

Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing is required

Minimum of 2 years experience with Lock Out/Tag Out is required

Minimum of 1 year SAP experience required

WE VALUE

Prior Maintenance Coordination experience is preferred

Prior union environment experience is preferred

Prior Knowledge of Maintenance Excellence Processes

Strong interpersonal and team skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
