As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrols in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at your assigned location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to respond promptly to situations, communicate clearly with both team members and the public, and support access control procedures as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience Must be at least 21 years of age Access control and/or badge experience is preferred Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us:
