Description
Athenix Solutions Group is looking for multiple Cloud System Architects for a large program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Cloud System Architects will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.
Responsibilities
:
Provide Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests
Provide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based compute resources
Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams
Maintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases
Provide Tier I/II support
Follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud based resources
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resources
Provide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based compute resources
Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams
Deploy new solutions into existing cloud resources or off-premise infrastructure
Write software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby
Plan and implement Infrastructure as a Service (IiaaS) and Platform as a Service (Paas) using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
Requirements
All openings require a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to start.
The Level 2 Cloud System Architect shall possess the following capabilities:
Strong knowledge of cloud solutions included but not limited to AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure products
Demonstrated experience using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
Must have 9 years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field
Must work with little to no prescriptive guidance
One (1) year development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies
One (1) year demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby
Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level II
The Level 3 Cloud System Architect shall possess the following capabilities:
Strong knowledge of cloud solutions like AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure products
Experience building cloud applications for performance, resiliency, availability and scale
Experience with container management systems (k8s, EKS) in production. Experience with Github
Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
Must have 12 years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field
Must work with little to no prescriptive guidance
Two (2) years of development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies
One (1) year demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby
Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level III
