Overview Our client is looking for an SAP S/4 Hana consultant with experience in Dining, Restaurant, Grocery or Consumer Product Goods (CPG).

Our client has already implemented SAP S4 Hana and is having challenges with solving for and configuring Units of Measure issues. We are looking for someone who has solved Unit of Measure issues in dining or similar industry in the past. The role focuses on assisting with issues for their Dining implementation, including Unit of Measure, EDI, and BOM configurations, and ensuring smooth integration between CPI, SAP, and supplier systems. Responsibilities
Address Unit of Measure issues (UoM qualifiers, consistent UoM configuration) to ensure CPI/SAP compatibility and proper handling of EDI invoices. Resolve Quantity with Decimal Values for weight-based products (e.g., meats, cheeses) within SAP tolerance limits for PO and goods receipts. Manage product identification using VSN and/or EAN/UPC; handle multiple identifiers across pack sizes or UoMs as needed by vendors. Handle varying Units in alternative UoM based on vendors shipping warehouses (e.g., Sysco California vs. Florida) and associated VSN configurations. Address decimal value handling for low-cost per unit goods (semi-finished products) in cost calculations. Consider partial quantities in recipe BOMs when cost is calculated and inventory is decremented, ensuring accurate cost and inventory impact. Skills and Requirements
SAP S/4 HANA experience – 3+ years (go-live with 2023 version is not required). Experience in the Dining industry; experience in restaurant, grocery, or CPG is acceptable. Manufacturing-only experience is not sufficient. Good communication skills to work with the business. SAP PP (production planning) experience. Hands-on configuration experience and ability to contribute thought leadership on the client issues. Compensation $75/hr to $85/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
