Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Senior Director of Project Development - Biosolids for the SE Region of the US. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron works with agricultural, municipal, and industrial customers to process their “waste” into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. We are looking for an energetic and seasoned Project Developer focusing on biosolids, to strengthen our team\'s work in the wastewater treatment industry. The ideal candidate has a solid background in working with municipalities to obtain feedstock agreements and developing biosolids facilities, while excelling at creating innovative solutions for complex waste stream challenges. This individual will be responsible for developing regional biosolids facilities that can process approximately 150,000 – 300,000 wet tons per year. Responsibilities
Craft and execute bold, strategic sales plans that align with our company\'s vision and achieve long-term success. Prepare and deliver impactful sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to the executive team. Leverage market knowledge to research, identify, and analyze emerging trends, monitor competitor activities, and seize new business opportunities. Craft compelling sales campaigns and promotional strategies to captivate prospects and boost brand awareness. Partner with local stakeholders and consultants to understand and navigate essential regulatory requirements, zoning laws, permitting processes, and project timelines — ensuring smooth operations and successful project launches. Identify and pursue groundbreaking business opportunities, establishing key partnerships and building a robust portfolio of high-value projects. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities. Conduct customer tours at existing sites to generate interest and accelerate sales activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards. Support the development of preliminary facility design and capital cost estimates; identify critical site engineering information needed to advance the project. Prioritize duties and responsibilities to fulfill objectives and maximize productivity. Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike. Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices. Work well under pressure in a fast-moving environment, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. Demonstrate collaborative behavior with colleagues, support teams, and company leadership. Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for solving challenging tasks and arriving to work on time with good attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the biosolids, wastewater treatment, or related environmental services industries. Strong local network within biosolids industry preferred. Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans and achieving revenue growth. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders. A demonstrated track record of developing successful projects is highly desirable. Deep understanding of the biosolids and wastewater treatment industry, including regulatory and compliance requirements. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED. Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in English. Benefits

Compensation range for this role is between $145,000 to $215,000 annually. This position requires regular regional and occasional national travel, up to 40-60% of the time. Travel may include site visits, corporate office and manufacturing site visits, meetings with clients, and attendance at industry events. A valid driver\'s license and the ability to travel on short notice are required. Discretionary bonus. The range provided is Sedron\'s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
