ServiceNow Architect - Insurance Domain Location: Erie, PA (Onsite Role) Rate:-$60-$65 c2c. Value momentum About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and a motivated ServiceNow Architect with a strong background in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions. You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, strategy, and roadmap for our ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and provides tangible value across our insurance operations. You will act as a key advisor and subject matter expert, guiding development teams and stakeholders on best practices, governance, and platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Architectural Leadership: Develop and own the technical architecture and strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform. Ensure the platform's design is scalable, secure, and resilient, meeting the specific needs of an insurance enterprise. • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including new modules, integrations, and customizations. This includes core ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and GRC, tailored to insurance-specific processes like policy management, claims processing, and customer service. • Technical Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies for all ServiceNow development and implementation activities. Conduct regular architectural reviews and audits to ensure compliance. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor, educating stakeholders on the platform's capabilities and limitations. • Integration Management: Define and manage the strategy for integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as policy administration systems, claims systems, and data warehouses, using various integration methods (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server). • Platform Health & Performance: Proactively monitor the platform's health and performance. Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and architectural risks to ensure the platform operates at peak efficiency. • Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role with at least 3-5 years as a ServiceNow Architect. • Deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform and its full suite of applications, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and GRC. • Extensive experience in the insurance domain is a must, with a solid understanding of insurance business processes (e.g., claims, underwriting, policy servicing). • Proven ability to design and deliver complex, end-to-end ServiceNow solutions. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, GlideRecord, REST/SOAP APIs, and other web technologies required for ServiceNow development and integration. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
