Title- Quality Assurance Lead Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3/2) Duration: 12 Months+ Compensation: $70-$80/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Quality Assurance Lead – Test Tools and Delivery Coordinator Company Overview The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the overall planning, architecting and preparation required for testing highly complex enterprise-wide technology solutions consisting of multiple work streams. The incumbent is accountable for managing and coordinating across the applicable BU IT Domains teams to plan and ensure the configuration for the efficient use of test tools (Test Management Tool, Test Automation Tool and Performance Test tool) required to successfully test all major projects, enhancements and maintenance changes. The Quality Assurance Lead will also provide team leadership; resource and budget management; technical, strategic and tactical oversight; prepare and present reports and metrics; ensure that standardized methods and procedures are followed and partner with Information Technology and business owners to meet the business objectively. Although this role is primarily a QA lead a portion of duties will be in the role of Project Management & Delivery Coordination. This aspect of the role will support delivery coordination activities including release planning, environment upgrades, and roadmap alignment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in QA methodologies, and experience managing cross-functional teams and delivery timelines. Duties and Responsibilities QA/Continuous Testing Services Ensure all strategic projects and operational projects meet the highest quality possible by following industry recognized testing methodologies and best practices. Provide overall management of Test Tool(s) planning and architect of activities for system and integrated testing ensuring alignment to release management process. Responsible for the day-to-day management of Test Support Services resources to ensure the highest level of support is always provided. Responsible for the oversight of the Test Management, Test Automation, Performance, Data Masking testing planning and analyzes results to insure they comply with specifications, IT standards and business expectations. Responsible/participate in architecting, designing, implementing and maintaining a cost effective, long-term automation and Performance strategy and framework promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability. Facilitate in the integration opportunities for the manual and automated test tools. Effectively employ test automation strategies to reduce testing cycles on repeated tasks. Review test automation plans, automated test cases, strategies and QA metrics in support of test execution. Support SIT & regression testing on assigned projects. Provide oversight and participation in conducting performance test feasibility study, performance test framework, and environment preparation. Participate in designing test strategies for Performance testing, Create and oversee test data governance practice in collaboration with Test Planning and Test Execution domains. Ensure QA-related metrics are designed and developed in support of the effective management of the QA function. Provide governance, oversight and implementation of timely upgrade of Test Tools to be in compliant with vendor support policies. Coordinate delivery timelines and dependencies across QA and project teams to ensure alignment with broader program milestones. Track and report on delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans for QA-related deliverables. Leadership Work with a team of Tosca Administrators, Automation Engineers and Performance Test Engineers. Train and/or coordinate training for engineers. Assure test automation engineers/administrators remain up to date on new technology; organizational changes; industry/product news; SDLC changes; and department and project related information. Define and Enhance Test Support Service Governance and Processes. Manage resource deployment and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget with quality outcomes. Enforce standard policies and procedures required by the QA department. Continuously promote, design and implement methods to improve the quality of processes and products Perform employee and task oversight on an ongoing basis to ensure the highest levels of customer support are adhered to and that all issues are addressed and worked in a timely manner and adhere to agree upon SLA's. Ensure that escalated issues are handled appropriately. Provide timely and detailed status reports on a weekly basis. Lead cross-functional planning sessions to align QA deliverables with project scope and timelines. Ensure QA resource allocation is optimized across concurrent initiatives. Collaborate with the Test Planning, Test Execution, BU IT Domain leads, Technical Owners, Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, Technical Operations and Business Analysts to ensure that Test tool(s), aligned with execution and delivery schedules. Provide governance to IT and the Business in use and adaptation of Test Tools and QA/Continuous Testing (CT) methodologies. Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with IT and our business partners. Participate in gathering data for Audits. Provide input to develop Test automation/performance Strategy and Plan for System and Release Test to align with Portfolio and Demand Management. Facilitates complex group meetings and conducts information gathering sessions. Coordinate QA Support services with Business IT Leads to identify and improve testing tools and approaches. Coordinate with Technical Operations to create and expand test automation/performance Lab based on portfolio demand. Serve as primary liaison between QA and project delivery teams to ensure seamless coordination of testing activities. Facilitate communication of project risks, issues, and dependencies related to QA deliverables Minimum Qualifications: Experience in managing various Test Tools to provide framework on test planning, test execution, test automation, Performance testing and test data activities. Experience in managing automation strategy and framework promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability. Experience in test framework which includes automation, performance and have a clear path of success with the implementation of test tool and end to end test. Proven experience managing teams or projects, senior-level internal team members, define team's deliverable, content and quality metrics. Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate. Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close. Experience with application and/or systems implementations or upgrades. Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience. Provides expertise, direction, coaching and development to build the team capability. Experience in structured testing methodologies with a proven ability to breakdown business/functional/non-functional requirements into high-level and detailed test plans, strategies, and estimates. Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening, presentation and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers and vendors.
