Contracts Manager

At Swingtech, we are committed to excellence and long-term success for our clients and our team. Swingtech is seeking a full time Contracts Manager with demonstrated expertise in federal contracting. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of contracts management, including drafting, reviewing, modifying, and negotiating a wide range of agreements. This position will be an integral part of the PMO team and will collaborate with the Business Development and Capture and Procurement teams on assigned tasks and projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing contract policies, processes, and templates, while also providing guidance on contractual and legal matters across the organization. Additionally, the Contracts Manager will work closely with the Quality Management team to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. Primary Responsibilities: Provide support on the full range of Federal Government contracting and procurement functions including formulation, solicitation, negotiation, modification, administration, and termination for high-dollar, long-term, highly visible, and critical programs. Review, negotiate, and draft complex agreements including Corp to Corp, 1099 agreements, NDAs, and teaming agreements. Review and provide contract pricing. Track potential changes and ensure estimates of cost and schedule changes are given visibility with leadership. Use, and improve existing enterprise tools, systems, and work processes while providing direction and support to Project Managers. Partner and collaborate closely with the Proposal team and support the BD/Capture teams. Assess and counsel stakeholders on identified project risks, contractual obligations, and key business decisions; develop risk mitigation plans and contingencies. Provide administrative support related to contracts management activities and in support of the PMO department. Provide general legal advice across all functions. Provide support to the Quality Management team and complete duties and projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors in business administration, accounting, finance, law or relevant field. Juris Doctor (J.D) from accredited law school is a significant plus. 8+ years of experience in contract negotiation, administration or management. Strong negotiations skills are a must. Must be a team player and be able to work in partnership with other departments. Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to provide general legal advice in contract escalation issues. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a number of activities simultaneously. Must be hands on and open to doing day to day administrative activities.
