Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 7+ years experience in systems development, business analysis, and client-server applications support. Strong ability to analyze business/system requirements, design/test plans, and maintain complex applications. Skilled in modeling, analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications. Knowledge of data management and ability to align technology solutions with business value. Experience leading projects (moderate budget/short-to-intermediate duration) and directing junior analysts. Capable of evaluating business implications of technology in both current and future environments. Responsibilities
Systems Analysis & Development: Conduct analysis of business requirements, system requirements, and system design. Develop and maintain client-server applications. Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and industry standards. Translate business/user requirements into system specifications. Devise/modify procedures to solve complex problems considering capacity, limitations, and operational requirements. Lead and review the work of business systems analysis personnel. Documentation & Standards Development: Draft, revise, and maintain documentation for security/operational standards, procedures, and workflows. Establish and manage document control protocols (versioning, formatting, distribution). Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards and knowledgebase systems. Collaborate with SMEs to capture technical/procedural knowledge in structured formats. Process Review & Optimization: Review existing standards/processes to identify inefficiencies and redundancies. Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements. Implement approved process changes and monitor adoption. Maintain training materials aligned with revised procedures. Metrics Development & Reporting: Design and enhance performance metrics to evaluate efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness. Collaborate with data owners for accurate sourcing and reporting. Develop dashboards and reporting tools for leadership. Track trends and outcomes to inform decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Corporate Security, Engineering, and Project Management teams. Participate in leadership check-ins to report progress, audit results, and recommend interventions. Coordinate with third-party vendors on overlapping documentation and deliverables.
