The Center for Student Access & Resources (CSAR) is committed to nurturing community and advocating for academic success among all students through tailored initiatives to support our scholars and the greater student body. The office assistant will be a valuable and engaged member of the CSAR team who welcome students and guests into CSAR, provide support with tabling and outreach as needed, and direct students to appropriate resources. Responsibilities

Reception/welcome duties: Cover reception desk Welcome visitors and orienting students to space (check-in) Notify CSAR staff when students arrive for their meetings/appointments Assist students in effectively identifying and accessing resources across campus Conduct CSAR office tours as needed Act as a role model of positive behavior, representing CSAR with pride and respect Office duties: Track of event attendance Update events in Campus Connect Clean lounge and meeting areas Check the mail & organize new orders Outreach duties, as needed: Staff tabling events Programming duties Assist Student Resource Navigators with programming and workshops Minimum Qualifications

Must be a current University of Utah student with at least 1 year of college credits completed Students who have been awarded a Federal Work-Study Award for the current year. (Please login to CIS and go to the Finance/Financial Aid section to view your Financial Aid Status. If you have not received a Federal Work-Study Award, then do NOT complete and submit this application. Before hire, this employer will confirm that you have received a Federal Work-Study Award for the 25-26 academic year.) Available to work a minimum of 12 in-person hours per week Familiarity with campus resources Essential personal attributes for this role include initiative, maturity, approachability, dependability, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
