We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and delivering excellent customer service. The bartender should have strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and take drink and food orders in a friendly and efficient manner
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
Maintain knowledge of bar menu items, specials, and promotions
Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
Manage cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately
Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized (including glassware, garnishes, and supplies)
Monitor and manage guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and supply ordering as needed
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
Knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and spirits
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (cases of liquor, beer kegs, etc.)
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
