Experienced Network Engineer
in the DFW metroplex to support and enhance their growing infrastructure.
They are particularly looking for individuals skilled in cloud network engineering, palo alto, Cisco routing, Kubernetes, Floating and Virtual IP's, and Back End IP's.
Contract Length: 6 months $60-75/h

Required Skills:
6-7 Network Engineering Role experience
Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying secure, scalable network solutions across diverse multi-vendor environments, including Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba.
In-depth knowledge of LAN switching technologies, VLAN configuration, and Spanning Tree Protocols (STP).
Expertise in dynamic routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP, within large-scale enterprise environments.
Proficient in WAN technologies such as IPSec, MPLS, SD-WAN, and load balancing solutions.
Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash for network automation tasks.
Extensive expertise with the F5 product suite, including load balancing, VIPs, XC, and DNS solutions.
Daily Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures across platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI, with a focus on VPC design, integration, and performance optimization.
Engineer and support enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi networks using technologies from Cisco, Palo Alto, F5 (BigIP, XC, GSLB), and VMware NSX-T/AVI, including advanced BGP/OSPF routing and HA configurations.
Develop and maintain network automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible to streamline deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
Troubleshoot and optimize complex wired and wireless infrastructure, perform capacity planning, and ensure consistent performance, scalability, and security across multi-vendor environments.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance across network deployments, including DNS management, QoS, failover strategies, and integration of cloud security solutions like Palo Alto Prisma and Strata.
