All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope.The Data Engineer directly supports our mission by enabling secure, reliable, and scalable access to data. You will focus on operationalizing data infrastructure, pipelines, and integration logic, ensuring that data consumers have clean, trusted, and timely data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL. Integrating data from multiple sources into databases maintained within a DevOps-enabled environment. Design and develop RESTful APIs using Flask to deliver data services and streamline workflows. Integrate with various platforms, tools, and services through API connections to enable seamless data exchange and automation Design and refine relational schemas to support scalable data solutions, ensuring data accuracy and monitoring performance across diverse environments. Implement and oversee data solutions across cloud environments, leveraging native tools for storage, compute, and orchestration to ensure scalability and efficiency. Use Ubuntu and Bash scripting to automate deployments and system monitoring, managing cron jobs and shell-based ingestion processes. Ensure all data handling practices align with HIPAA and internal privacy standards, implementing robust access controls and audit logging. Collaborate with analysts, architects, and program leads to understand data needs, maintain clear documentation, and support DevOps practices through Git, CI/CD, and continuous learning. Role(s):

REQUIREMENTS:

2 years of related professional experience in data management, designing and building data warehouse infrastructure, and developing integration tools to support scalable, secure, and efficient data operations Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of degree Fluency in English and additional language(s) as outlined in the job posting, both spoken and written Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 applications, programming in SQL (intermediate or higher), PostgreSQL, Python, and shell scripting, with hands-on experience using both AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including Azure and Microsoft Graph API for building integrated Microsoft tools Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers. Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations Successfully completes tasks in a low noise environment Interact with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with long periods of stationary activity and minimal periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to sitting, standing and walking Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 25 pounds Travels between worksites occasionally Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, faith-based settings such as churches Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program The Perks:
