Position Overview:

Pivotal Point is seeking a Project Manager I - Training Lead who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive training programs that ensure service desk personnel are fully prepared to support CBP's mission-critical operations. This role oversees all aspects of training, including new hire onboarding, refresher courses, specialized technical instruction, and process updates. The Training Lead ensures staff are proficient in IT service desk tools, CBP systems, customer service best practices, and ITIL-based service management processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining workforce readiness, improving First Contact Resolution, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the TSD.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

•Design and deliver new hire, refresher, and specialized training programs.

•Develop training materials, job aids, and e-learning modules.

•Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvements.

•Collaborate with Quality Control Lead to address skill gaps.

•Maintain training records and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications:

•Minimum of three (3) years designing and delivering training programs.

•In-depth knowledge of training practices and adult learning principles.

•Bachelor's degree in Education, IT, or related field.

•Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.

•Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

•U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

•ITIL v4 Foundation certification.

•Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or equivalent.

•Experience training in federal or enterprise IT environments.
