Description of the role:
The Sales Manager at Home2 Suites By Hilton Louisville Downtown NuLu is a key player in driving sales and revenue for our hotel. This role requires a motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Home2 Suites By Hilton Louisville Downtown NuLu provides guests with a modern and welcoming hospitality experience. Our hotel prioritizes guest satisfaction and strives to create a comfortable and memorable stay for every visitor.
You will build excellent relationships with business travelers, travel managers, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate business for the hotel.
Your daily tasks will include prospecting for new business, responding to incoming RFPs and inquiries, executing contracts, and communicating client expectations to the hotel team.
You will report to the General Manager and be supported by the Area Director of Sales.
A job in sales is a great way to learn about the entire hotel.
This position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline, including learning about new market segments, tackling larger hotels, serving as Director of Sales, and even working as a national salesperson or third-party planner.
Education & Experience Applicants should have
A college degree and/or two years of hotel experience and/or combination of education & experience.
Hotel Sales Experience, Required.
Similar Brand Experience, Highly Preferred.
Extended Stay Hotel Sales Experience, Highly Preferred.
Medical and/or University Segment Experience, Highly Preferred.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications
