Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr
Overview Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead QA Analyst in Clearwater, FL. Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Lead QA Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts for PEO (Professional Employer Organization) projects. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership in agile environments, and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical teams and product owners.
Responsibilities
Scrum Leadership: Act as the QA Lead in daily scrum meetings, representing the quality perspective and ensuring timely follow-ups with both technical teams and product owners
Automation Ownership: Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber; Update scripts to reflect new functionality and changes
Production Support: Focus on updates to existing functionality, ensuring stability and reliability in production environments
Smoke Testing: Lead efforts in manual and automated smoke testing during CAB deployments (typically at 6 PM EST); Drive efficiency in test execution and validation
Delegation & Oversight: Provide guidance to offshore QA team members, ensuring consistent contribution and testing coverage; Act as the escalation point for technical and process-related issues
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with onshore tech leads and offshore developers; Must be personable and confident in reaching out to resolve issues or clarify requirements
Security & PII Handling: Manage sensitive data testing with onshore resources due to security protocols
Requirements
Proven experience leading QA efforts in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
Experience with automation frameworks and production support
Strong technical communication skills—able to engage with developers and product owners
Flexible and adaptable—able to handle multiple priorities and jump into testing as needed
Comfortable with hybrid work and leading distributed teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
