Description

The Operational Excellence Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for creating, managing, and supporting process improvement to optimize efficiency and the overall performance across the sales organization to align with Acosta’s strategy and goals. This involves delivering research, insights, data and systems analysis, and tools to support understanding of business needs and inform decisions, along with maintaining communication with all management levels and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Leverage skills in Power BI, MS Access/SQL Server, MS Office, Web Browsers, Salesforce, and AI to support data management and process improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze raw data to extract insights that inform decision-making and strategic actions.
  • Project Management & Delivery: Support project delivery based on scope, timing, and costs through effective communication.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Support: Work with teams to identify process improvements, deliver initiatives on time and budget, and support adoption of tools and reports.
  • Research: Conduct research on financial and operational data to assist Sales Leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize operational processes for efficiency.
  • Communication: Regularly share findings and recommendations, presenting complex concepts clearly.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform analyses to support decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a strategic or analytical role, preferably in CPG industry.
  • Strong technical skills in Power BI, SQL, MS Office, Salesforce, and AI familiarity.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Growth mindset and effective communication skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually.
