Data Analyst - Financial Services at Access Capital Group, an Integrity Marketing Group company, is a financial services company that provides funding to insurance agents and agencies by purchasing future commission streams for immediate cash. Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst – Financial Services to support our data infrastructure and reporting needs. This role will focus on managing, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data to drive business insights and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

Database Management:

  • Maintain and update internal databases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Develop and implement data validation processes to ensure high-quality data inputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and streamline data collection processes.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support forecasting and business planning through data modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Data Governance & Documentation:

  • Document data sources, definitions, and processes to support transparency and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Business Intelligence Support:

  • Provide actionable insights to management through data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Recommend improvements to data systems and reporting processes.

Skills & Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis, database management, or a related field; insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MySQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and business operations is beneficial.
  • Coursework or background in data science, statistics, business, or a related field.
