Lead Housing Care Navigator Join Our Team at Copa Health!
Location: Arizona Schedule: Full-time At Copa Health, we believe in building brighter futures by helping individuals achieve safe and stable housing. We're looking for a Lead Housing Care Navigator to guide our Housing Care Navigator team and support members on their journey to long-term housing success. This is your opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness while providing mentorship and leadership to a dedicated team. What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and train Housing Care Navigators. Conduct assessments and develop personalized housing plans with participants. Provide referrals and connect members with vital community resources, including employment, healthcare, and social services. Advocate for members' housing rights and help navigate lease agreements and responsibilities. Facilitate workshops, support groups, and orientation sessions. Engage with landlords, property managers, and community organizations to expand housing opportunities. Ensure accurate documentation in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Collaborate closely with the Senior Program Manager to ensure program alignment and success. What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field and 1+ year working with individuals experiencing homelessness or behavioral health needs; OR Equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Requirements:
Fingerprint clearance card (or eligibility within 8 weeks). TB test clearance at hire and annually. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to transport participants in personal or company vehicle.
Skills:
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Trauma-informed and harm reduction approach. Crisis intervention and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Tech-savvy with HMIS/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
