Previous foreclosure, REO and / or Title experience a plus, but not required. Responsibilities
Request and receive title reports from numerous vendors based on various client directives. Review title reports, quality check automated data in internal case management system, and data entry missing information. Perform title examinations, primarily for residential abstracts, analyzing records for mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plat & map books to determine ownership, and verify completeness and accuracy of legal descriptions. Identify title issues and notate the same in internal case management system along with various clients systems. Communicate (verbal and written) with necessary parties to obtain discharges and / or payoffs on liens and judgments. Prepare and submit title claims to the insurer on behalf of the insured client. Research and retire mobile home titles based on state specific procedures. Ensure clear and insurable title for post-sale conveyance to investors, including governmental agencies and entites FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA & FHLMC. Monitor and work an active pipeline of title files, while ensuring new files are timely completed pursuant to client SLAs. Ensure timely notification of title issues on files through specified clients systems or emails. Maintain daily workload of tasks and step completions within clients systems and the firms internal case management system. About the Firm
