Shuttle Driver Overnights FT or PT - CDL or non-CDL

We are seeking shuttle drivers to work overnights in Rochester, NY.
We operate passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL - however, if you have a CDL you get paid extra and are encouraged to apply!
Non-CDL drivers earn $20/hour to start. Applicants who already have a CDL (w/ P endorsement) earn $24/hour to start.
VPA offers weekly payroll - get a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week!
Currently, we are seeking drivers who can work full time or part time 10:30pm-5:30am. These positions will operate 7 days, and we are seeking staff who are interested in working 2, 3, or 5 nights per week.
The role involves using software similar to on-demand ride share services, but using a company-owned vehicle, so no wear and tear on your own! We are transporting students of a local college in a safe ride program.
Shuttle Driver- Job Description
The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can Safely shuttling customers to various destinations Opening and closing doors for patrons Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements Recording passenger counts and trip times Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.) Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
License required: valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing.
Due to our insurance regulations, shuttle drivers must be at least 20 years old.
A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical).
Professional driving experience is a plus.
Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.
