Outside Sales Representative
Knoxville Company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative! This candidate would be a crucial link between their industrial motor and pump repair/sales services and their diverse customer base. The role would involve developing sales presentations, managing paperwork, and actively participating in sales meetings and training. Strong product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and the ability to match equipment to industry-specific needs are important. Local travel required. Salary: Base- $40,000-$50,000 plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of products, including electric motors, drives, and other equipment, and how they can be applied to different industries.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations, demonstrating the value of products to potential customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Support: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including sales orders and reports, and ensure compliance with quality control guidelines.
- Teamwork: Actively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other activities to support the team and achieve sales goals.
- Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities, both with existing customers and by prospecting for new clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Understand the specific requirements and challenges of different industries.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to develop and close sales, negotiate prices, and manage customer relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information, build rapport, and manage client interactions.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical specifications and apply them to customer needs.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the sales process or with customer shipments.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $40,000.00 - $40,000.00 Per Year
