Position Summary:
The Deputy Director of Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing operation of all Clinical Services Department services and activities. Manages administration of all Clinical Services Department services and activities, including reception, client intakes and orientations, psycho-social assessments, general medical examinations, specialty medical and mental health examinations, inter-disciplinary FCO determination team meetings, appointment scheduling activities, and data entry functions.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and maximize efficiency of all clinical WeCARE services and activities, including client intakes, assessments, general medical examinations, specialty medical and mental health examinations, functional capacity outcome (FCO) determinations, appointment scheduling activities, and data entry functions
Monitor the referral process from the Human Resources Administration and ensure that maximal effort is made to outreach clients failing to comply
Identify operational issues and facilitate corresponding process improvements in close collaboration with the WeCARE Project Director, Medical Director, and appropriate Clinical Assessment staff
Regularly observe and measure client satisfaction to quantify overall quality of service
Ensure that all activities are completed within set deadlines and program timeframes, seeing to it that all reporting, medical documents, and test results are reviewed and processed in a timely manner
Implement internal controls to confirm that work and production are consistent with regular policies, procedures, and practices
Oversee, manage, and develop staff and new hires and monitor clinic staff performance to ensure that standards are consistently met
Partners with the Project Director and other WeCARE departments for training and program development in accordance with responsibilities of staff positions and to facilitate the growth and development of each job function
Monitor and review documentation of services in all Human Resources Administration (HRA) information technology systems, including but not limited to SEAMS, to ensure that clinical assessments and case notes meet standards of funder in quality and thoroughness
Adhere to the department budget and ensure that clinical operations staff operate within guidelines and goals for revenue and expense budgets. Assist in the preparation of the department budget, as needed
Motivate staff, establish, and maintain a high energy, highly accountable, team approach to getting site work completed timely and in an atmosphere that is stimulating and allows for continued growth and development.
You'll be a Great Fit For this Role If: Graduate degree in Health Administration, Health Education, Public Administration, Vocational Services or related field
Five years supervisory and management experience including fiscal management.
Minimum five years of satisfactory professional experience in public health, workforce development, social services, vocational rehabilitation, or related area is required.
Proven track record of effectively leading a performance-based and outcome-based program and staff.
Compensation 120k-125k
