Project Engineer
in Oak Ridge, TN. A DOE Q Clearance or DOD Equivalent is preferred to be considered for this position. Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for projects across Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and/or Production Stockpile initiatives. Plan, design and implement new machine tools and/or infrastructure upgrades. Provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to multi-disciplinary engineering teams for high-profile plant initiatives. Apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities. Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects; establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules; coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel; review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required. Acknowledge that many large expense-funded Production capability initiatives fall outside the conventional capital projects organization and require coordination and integration of technical resources both internal and external to the ME organization. Qualifications
BA/BS degree from an ABET-accredited school in a technical discipline, plus 10+ years of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 10+ years of experience. A DOE Q Clearance or DOD equivalent is highly preferred. Due to government contract requirements and/or clearances, US citizenship is required. Navarro is an equal-opportunity employer.
