This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend effective solutions. You will also be responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and staying updated on product features while upholding the high visual and quality standards of our products and store. Your goal will be to provide exceptional customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales targets. Key responsibilities include interacting with customers, which may involve minors; handling cash and various payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, and store merchandise, sometimes with supervision and sometimes without. To protect the business, our operations, and the safety of customers, staff, and vendors, a review of criminal history is required. Key Responsibilities: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Assist customers in person and over the phone by assessing needs and providing suitable products and services Establish productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers Accurately process sales transactions following company policies Meet and strive to exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis Maintain organized work order files and formulas Retrieve and prepare the necessary products from the sales floor or warehouse Mix and tint products according to customer specifications Stock shelves and create appealing displays Prepare store equipment for cleaning Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks Contribute to deliveries as needed Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing Stay knowledgeable about offered products and discuss all options available to customers Comply with inventory control procedures Suggest improvements for sales performance Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work without the need for work visa sponsorship now or in the future Valid, unrestricted Driver's License Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Internal applicants must have a performance rating of meets expectations or higher on their most recent appraisal Internal applicants must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles Previous experience selling paint and related products Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment Ability to communicate in multiple languages, particularly Spanish
