CMT . Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning, design, and construction of civil & transportation projects focused on Aviation development Leading design tasks or projects, including supervising junior staff Preparing bidding documents (plans & specifications), including horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, marking, signage, erosion control, coordination with other disciplines, water & sanitary utilities, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction scheduling Supporting the client manager in providing service to and developing relationships with existing aviation clients Managing and coordinating multi-disciplined tasks necessary for project implementation in our aviation group Overseeing construction-related tasks, including on-site observation and project engineering Participating in business development activities such as outreach to prospective clients, preparing submittals, and community engagement Position Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering is required.
A Masters degree will be considered favorably. Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in transportation, civil site development, and infrastructure projects. Aviation experience is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and/or Wisconsin is required Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for civil & site design and analysis Interest in diverse assignments and willingness to travel as needed Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record Who is CMT?
