A Medical Assistant resident with no prior medical assistant experience learns to work as a medical assistant in a clinical setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant resident will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. Minimum Qualifications Medical Assistant Resident: Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Medical Assistant: Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience or current RN/LPN license. Physical Requirements: Location: Heber Valley Clinic Work City: Heber City Work State: Utah Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
