Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support two existing Project Managers and oversee all project management responsibilities from start to finish. This includes schedule creation and management, budget oversight, subcontractor selection, and client communications. The candidate must have at least five years of experience in a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager capacity, specifically supporting commercial construction projects. The projects are primarily local to Harford and surrounding counties and focus on retail, church, and car dealership spaces. Experience with both base-build and interior projects is required. Responsibilities: Oversee projects from initiation to completion. Create and manage project schedules. Manage project budgets effectively. Select and manage subcontractors. Communicate effectively with clients. Ensure successful completion of commercial construction projects. Essential Skills: Project management experience in commercial construction. Proficiency in construction management and scheduling. Experience with construction documents and project coordination. Proficiency in managing change orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Strong scheduling and budget management skills. Excellent communication skills and a relationship-driven personality. Experience with construction management software. Work Environment: The role is based in an office environment with two other Project Managers and the owner, offering a small company feel with fewer than 20 employees. Projects are local, making this position ideal for someone living north of Baltimore. The company values strong market relationships and prioritizes customer service. Some projects will be self-performed, requiring collaboration with internal field crews. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
