Supervise the Front Desk Agents, Valet, Bell staff to ensure efficient operations. May serve as Manager on Duty in absence of supervisory personnel. Scope of Work + Team Reports to Front Office Manager Supports the Front Office Department/Reservations
Responsibilities
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally. Supervise front desk staff and manage shift workload. Review VIP reservations and update the system accordingly. Coordinate with other departments for guest requests and special accommodations. Maintain accurate room status reports and communicate with relevant departments. Verify cash and bank deposits. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Train and cross-train front desk personnel. Participate in hotel committees and perform special projects as assigned. Assist the Front Office Manager as needed.
Qualifications
Experience:
1+ years supervisory experience in hospitality or customer relations. IT Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web analytics tools preferred. Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Additional skills include excellent communication, cash handling, customer service, ability to work variable schedules, and knowledge of safety procedures. Other Expectations
Adhere to payroll and safety policies. Travel as needed for training and meetings.
