The Office is seeking an Office & Administrative Specialist, Intermediate (OASI) to provide clerical and administrative services to the Consumer Action Division. This includes support for staff attorneys, legal assistants, attorney managers, and office managers, as well as client agencies and constituents of the State of Minnesota. Support services for these positions include drafting, typing letters, memos, and correspondence, data entry, photocopying, scanning, collating, binding documents, filing, and organizational projects. This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment (combination of in-office work and telework) after successful completion of onboarding and training. Minimum Qualifications

Skill in: Customer service is sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information in person, on the phone, in writing, and/or online to client agencies, coworkers, and constituents. Data entry is sufficient to create and maintain accurate records and reports in a timely manner. Database use and management is sufficient to set up and run basic queries, review, and analyze data, and identify problem areas. Word processing sufficient to prepare, edit, and finalize emails, reports, and/or other documents and types of written communication that are grammatically correct, in proper format, and free of spelling errors. Ability to: Create, file, retrieve, and destroy electronic and physical records according to retention schedules. Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and/or complaints. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of legal terminology sufficient to comprehend and draft a variety of legal documents. Ability to: Use or readily learn to office equipment to include scanner, photocopy machine, multiline telephone, and fax machine. Work in an inclusive, creative, and collaborative work environment. Work in a fast-paced environment handling a high volume of tasks, deadlines, and rapid changes by using strong time management skills. Make quick decisions and communicate effectively within the office. Physical Requirements

Ability to: Work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time. Collect and deliver items from one location to another. Use a keyboard for extended periods of time which may include repetitive motion. Additional Requirements
