Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform a balanced 60/40 split of electrical versus mechanical maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with operators to troubleshoot and resolve machine downtime issues.

Maintain all injection molding equipment in the facility, both mechanically and electrically.

Repair and maintain equipment such as injection molding machines, blow molding, stamping, tool and die machines, robotics, and automated equipment.

Work with electrical systems including 480v, 24dc, and 3-phase.

Order spare parts as needed by filling out basic requisitions.

Follow a preventive maintenance (PM) schedule.

Utilize computer and basic Excel skills for work orders, PM schedules, and ordering parts.

Troubleshoot PLCs, specifically the person and Mitsubishi systems.

Troubleshoot and repair robotics, including fanuc, and the person systems.

Repair hydraulics by replacing pumps and piping.

Identify leaks and troubleshoot pneumatic systems.

Conduct basic facilities maintenance as required.

Essential Skills

GED or high school diploma.

Certifications or associate's degree in a related field.

Experience with injection molding or blow molding.

Experience with 480v, 24dc, and 3-phase electrical systems.

Experience in troubleshooting robotics such as fanuc, the person, or yasakawa.

Lock out/tag out certification.

Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Experience in replacing pumps and piping.

Ability to identify leaks in pneumatic systems and troubleshoot them.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

TIG welding experience.

Experience in tool and die maintenance.

PLC troubleshooting skills.

Installation experience.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled, yet very clean facility equipped with advanced automated machinery. The role is based in a brand new building on the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, with the potential for weekend work. Expect a workweek of approximately 50-55 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $75920.00/yr.

-PTO will be prorated based off start date and can use it after 90 days

-In January of the new year they will get 120 hours

-Benefits will start 1st day of the following month from start date

-401k with 6% company match

-Perfect attendance bonus-Earn an extra $1 on top of pay and includes over time-starts right away

This is a fully onsite position in Toledo,OH.
