In this role, you will be responsible for managing backlog tickets, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and providing technical guidance to offshore team members. You will work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to improve system stability, optimize performance, and drive incremental enhancements to the platform. Our primary focus is on the WellStat platform, built on a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack. While familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is a plus for legacy system support, this role is first and foremost a Full Stack JavaScript engineer role. Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the technical backlog, handling bug fixes, enhancements, and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues across cloud infrastructure, APIs, and web applications. Work with offshore development team members, guiding them on best practices and ensuring code quality. Develop and optimize full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React. Build and maintain backend services with Express.js and frontend applications with React 18, Redux, Axios, React Router, and SCSS. Assist in maintaining microservices-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability. Establish debugging and monitoring strategies with Datadog, Sentry, and PagerDuty to proactively detect and resolve issues. Implement API integrations, data pipelines, and performance optimizations. Collaborate with the development and product teams to improve workflows and delivery. Provide occasional support for legacy services built in Java and Spring Boot (Mach Energy platform). 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based, microservices environment. Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript full-stack development (Node.js, React, Express.js). Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Amazon MQ, Kafka). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with experience working with limited documentation. Experience managing and collaborating with offshore development teams. Good understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and database technologies (MySQL, NoSQL). Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of backlog management. Experience in IoT, PropTech, or energy management is a plus. Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot for legacy platform support is a nice-to-have. Why Join WellStat
