Job Description
The Amcor Integrated Sales Manager is responsible for embracing and improving the processes and procedures for the Account Manager Associates. This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relationships, develops opportunities for new customer growth as well as growth within their current customer base, while achieving sales and profit forecasts. This is an advanced level requiring independent management with additional accountability to sales and marketing directors. accounts, projects, and markets assigned to this position are strategic in scope. This role has a team of direct reports. This role reports to the Commercial Excellence & Integrated Sales Director.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Lead Integrated Sales Team:
The team is a mix of newly onboarded sellers (0-3 years' experience) and more seasoned sales talent
Manage and lead sales strategies for the team
Drive growth with new small and medium sized customers
Grow and develop a team of associates to become our next great field sales representatives
Build capabilities and ensure proper training based on candidate profile
Create new onboarding/trainings as needed
Create opportunities as they arise for experience with trials, tours, customer visits
Ensure all trainings/tours/job shadows are completed
Sales Growth
Meet sales plan and manage accurate rolling forecast
Show initiative to develop programs to drive profitable growth to meet sales goals of the team
Attend "Ride-alongs" with team to drive immediate feedback and coaching
Model best practice sales practices by engaging virtually and in-person with customers to drive stronger relationships
Challenge team with sales growth opportunities
Cold calling & growing existing accounts to take to field sales
Ensure individual trainee goals and sales goals are met through monitoring, coaching, and training as needed
Maintain accurate reporting of goals and sales progress
Recruit, Coach and develop trainees
Assist with customer visits, trials, etc. to provide real time support and feedback
Help team develop internal relationships that will support matrix navigation
Partner with recruiting team in HR to recruit trainees via Campus Recruiting/LinkedIn/Job Fairs
Develop the Amcor Brand in the campuses we want to recruit from
Partner with Sales Directors
Align with targeted segments / business to drive stronger collaboration and support business strategies
Meet regularly with sales directors to understand and fill talent pipeline needs
Provide quarterly reports to sales directors on team progress
Learn the needs of the specific regions to help ensure talent development will meet the needs of the sales field placement for the associate
Travel
On-going customer visits with associates to support customer engagement and employee growth
Trade shows as applicable
Campus recruiting events, as needed

Compensation
The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $112,800 to $141,000; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $112,800 to $169,200 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
