Job Summary

The

Industrial Maintenance Technician

is a multiskilled maintenance technician. This individual possesses the knowledge and experience to complete preventive and corrective maintenance, with minimal direct oversight once trained, for all production and facility equipment within the Center to ensure or improve production efficiency. Training and certification in HVAC-R is a plus but not required.

The technician’s schedule for this position will be four 10-hour days Sunday-Wednesday 4:00 am-2:30 pm with a possibility of a rotating Mon-Thu, Mon-Thu and Mon-Wed + Sun, with a start time of 4:00 am.

We are a pay for skill facility. In addition to annual pay increase, as you progress in your skill set you will have the opportunity for a positive pay progression every six months until you max out pay. On the job training for all the following tasks will be provided on a one-on-one basis with experienced technicians. Additional outside training resources may be used to enhance this technician's skill set.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pneumatic, electrical, motion control and mechanical systems

An Individual with HVAC-R experience is desired, but not required

Troubleshooting using, Allen Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix

PLC interface for diagnostics. Advanced PLC skills a plus

Assist with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic installation of new equipment

Conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs on machinery and building.

Assist with facility improvement and basic repairs including floors, walls, and ceilings

Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects

Support outside contractors with repairs/maintenance as needed

Maintain accurate and complete departmental records

This position will do some basic plant sanitation functions mainly within the warehouse.
