Electrician
Join JLL's facilities maintenance team as an Electrician providing essential maintenance and repair services to preserve building systems and manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Process Equipment
- Maintain and repair tank farm operations, dispensing equipment, and compressed gas storage systems
- Service regenerative thermal oxidizers, oil mist collectors, and thermal control units
- Support Class 7 clean room mechanical systems diagnosis and repair
- Maintain production process central exhaust systems and compressed natural gas facilities
- Manage spare and replacement parts inventories for critical equipment
Electrical & Power Systems
- Perform maintenance on normal power systems to first disconnect
- Maintain emergency power systems and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems
- Work with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems
- Troubleshoot controller programs including Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
Building Systems & Automation
- Maintain building automation and monitoring systems
- Calibrate natural gas and water meters
- Support building HVAC and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
Safety & Performance Management
- Ensure employee safety training compliance and participate in safety concern processes
- Complete safety PM and repair tasks on schedule
- Utilize pre-task planning methods and maintain safety standards
- Complete help desk work orders within 24-hour timeframe
- Perform environmental PM completion and reporting
- Maintain general housekeeping in common work areas
Required Skills
Experience & Certification
- Journeyman certification in Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas (Required)
- Experience with pumps, motors, and speed/feed systems
- Working knowledge of electrical prints and schematics
- Experience with controller programs (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens preferred)
Technical Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Understanding of manufacturing process equipment and systems
- Knowledge of building automation and power systems
Licenses & Certifications
- Current forklift and aerial lift operator's license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to meet IPMP compliance requirements
- Commitment to attend scheduled training and maintain certifications
Preferred Skills
- Ten plus years of facility maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of MAXIMO or similar computerized maintenance management systems
- Experience with Class 7 clean room environments
- Background in compressed gas systems and thermal oxidizer operations
- Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management
- Experience with UPS systems and emergency power operations
- Knowledge of natural gas facilities and meter calibration
- Previous union environment experience
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field
