Responsibilities
- Advisory Services Leadership: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and team development; participate in site leadership meetings and contribute to business planning; identify workforce trends and recommend solutions to address current and future organizational needs.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary HR contact for all site employees; manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions; conduct regular floor walks to maintain visibility and build relationships; foster a positive work environment to promote engagement and retention; support communication between management and employees.
- Talent Management: Collaborate with TA team to lead recruitment for the site, conduct new hire orientation and onboarding; support performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, development planning); assess workforce skill gaps and partner with Culture and Employee Experience to develop targeted learning programs; support succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation; support annual enrollment processes.
- HR Program Implementation: Implement corporate HR initiatives at the site level; provide feedback to corporate HR on program effectiveness and site needs; support change management during organizational transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of HR experience, 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with employee relations, recruitment, and performance management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels
- Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite
Preferred
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with HR metrics and analytics
- Background in organizational development or change management
