Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

Teledyne Brown Engineering is looking for a Business Systems Analyst. This role combines aspects of Finance and Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in Finance and/or IT Business Systems.

The Business Systems Analyst will:

• Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, administer, and support the company’s financial planning and analytics systems.
• Generate financial reports and conduct analyses.
• Support and train end users as needed.
• Collaborate with management to address business and financial challenges.
• Work with the Business Management Office to meet reporting needs and internal business requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Interest in developing analytics and reporting solutions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and IBM Planning Analytics.
• Knowledge of SQL with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in financial analysis, planning, and translating requirements.
• Experience working for the government or as a government contractor.
• Experience developing reports or dashboards.
• Courses or experience in accounting, finance, analytics, or business management.
